General wellness Protocols
I rarely get sick. I believe this is due to my positive outlook, wellness practices and consistent daily use of Essential oils! But I recently began getting ill and immediately intensified my use of Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils, which support the body’s natural ability to heal. I was having symptoms which included; sore /swollen throat, joint aches, increased mucus, stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, sinus and head congestion, ear discomfort.
I have such great success with the assistance of my favorite brand of essential Oils and natural recipes that within 12 hours or less I am feeling 95% better! Below are some recipes and protocols that I use in time of need or as maintenance for continued wellness. Remember a lower grade fever is Productive! It’s the body’s way of combating illness! Just help manage it to assist the body. See #2 below.
Please don’t put off wellness – Get the oils and begin using them immediately to shorten and help combat common discomforts!
- Throat and Cough spray made in a 2 oz. sprayer bottle
8 drops cinnamon
5 drops clove
5 drops lemon
Make stronger or weaker depending on preference/tolerance – Spray directly into back of throat. - Lavender and Frankincense 1 drop each added to 1 drop Fractionated Coconut oil and rubbed on my throat/neck, around ears. Also, help manage elevated body temperature with peppermint added. Melaleuca and Basil for ear discomfort as well.
- Immune support Blend made In 10ml glass Roller bottle
30 drops On Guard
20 Oregano
40 drops lemon
May add Frankincense or Melaleuca and reduce lemon drops. Roll on Feet and/or spine 4-6 times a day initially and then just twice a day until recovered. May use as immune support once a day after. - Digestive Blend
Rub over bridge of nose and sinus area to help with sinus pressure and discomfort – This works Amazingly! As often as needed Rub on Stomach or foot reflex points for discomfort etc.… also helps break down mucus in the gut and body. - Seasonal discomfort Bomb – place 2 drops each in a small shot of water and drop into back of mouth, carefully avoiding lips and skin.
Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint Use as needed
Lavender is helpful in protecting against seasonal reactions, Lemon is a disinfectant/cleanser, Peppermint can relieve discomfort and helps opens airways. - Cup O’ Sinus Relief – 2 drops each Oregano, lemon, Thyme and On Guard in a mug of Hot Water. Hover nose over steam and inhale slowly to help sinus pressure and infuse the sinuses with fighting oils! Repeat as needed – caution “Hot/spicy” steam as inhaled. Be prepared with Tissue!
- Respiratory Blend 1-2 drops on chest or Feet or in a diffuser for respiratory support
- Homemade cough and throat support – use consistently as needed
2TBS Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
2TBS Honey
3-5 drops Lemon
3-5 drops cinnamon
Mix together in a glass jar and use as needed. This is an amazing concoction to cleanse the gut, soothe the throat and assist with coughs. If you don’t have the Oils (lemon and Cinnamon, use 2TBS lemon Juice and 2tsp cinnamon Mix Well) - Lemon, lime, grapefruit oils
Use 3-5 drops in glass or metal water bottle throughout the day- Everyday, for natural cleansing of organs and blood. - All for Sleep Support -Lavender and Cedarwood applied to the wrists and chest. Grounding blend Swiped across the forehead or on feet.
May use Sleep support oil blend and soft gels for Sleep support as well.
Other Extra calming oils include; Vetiver, Sandalwood, Frankincense
